Adventure Awaits white and gold orca fine art print is a fun and inspiring print for children, teens and adults alike! This versatile print is inspired by the adventurous and inquisitive nature of orca whales. It is also inspired by the symbolism that Orcas are often identified with - Family, harmony, travel and community. They also symbolise protection for those who travel away from home, guiding them back when the time comes.
This could be a perfect gift for someone who is about to set off on a new adventure in life, perhaps a newborn baby who has just entered the world, a friend who has landed an exciting new job role, a child about to leave home for the first time, someone heading off on a travelling adventure or moving away to university. This print has the potential to become an heirloom piece of artwork that lasts a lifetime.
The calming colours of this print give a sense of peace and tranquillity and when paired with the gold stars creates a dream-like feel to the image. The quote ‘Adventure Awaits’ has a positive message that encourages the viewer to visualise future adventures and exciting times ahead. Hang this print in a place where it can be seen often to create an uplifting and inspiring mood.
If you are looking to create a gallery wall, Adventure Awaits looks great when paired with Stay Wild and is available as a bundle at a discounted rate.
‘Adventure Awaits’ was handmade by Liz, founder of Slow Sunday, in her home studio in Bristol. Liz uses a unique papercut stencil and roller print technique to produce her lively and textured prints. The handmade artwork has then been scanned and digitally modified to create the perfect print. The artwork is digitally printed onto artist quality soft textured bright white cotton paper. The paper has a lovely quality and is thick and weighty at 315gsm.
Each print is then carefully hand finished with the addition of gold leaf stars, which catch and reflect light beautifully and create a dream like quality. The print is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner.
Your print will be carefully packaged with cardboard backing and placed inside a card backed envelope to ensure it arrives with you safely. The print itself will be wrapped in a bio-degradable and compostable ‘cellophane’ bag which has been made in the UK from vegetable starch. These bags can be placed in either a home or commercial compost bin and will break down to CO2 and water which can then be reused in the ecosystem to make new plants.
Liz will add a handwritten thank you note to each order. If you are sending the print directly as a gift and you would like a gift note instead, pop a note on your order and this can be personalised with your own message to let someone special know you are thinking of them.
