A morning of creativity and mindfulness hosted by Liz of Slow Sunday and Emily of Luna Circle

Saturday 18th May, 10am-1pm

The Old School Room, Chew Magna, BS40 8SH

Spend your Saturday morning slowing down and coming into a place of calm and creativity. This workshop combines meditation, breathwork, journaling, intention setting and printmaking.

 WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Spring vibes
  • Hot drinks & snacks (Please advise of any allergies/dietary requirements)
  • Create your very own spring themed prints and greeting cards
  • A mini magnetic frame to display your work
  • Meditation, journaling & intention setting
  • Like minded creative souls
  • Beautiful historic building dating back to 1510

Emily will ease you into the session, guiding you through a mindfulness practice to settle you into a state of presence and flow. Once we have loosened up and allowed the creative juices to start flowing, Liz will introduce you to a fun and playful printmaking technique using paper stencils and printing rollers. You will have time to dive into creative play, making spring botanical themed prints and greeting cards. The morning will finish with an intention setting exercise so you leave the workshop carrying on the positive vibes into the rest of your Winter season and beyond.

More about Liz:

Liz is the creator behind Slow Sunday. Nestled in her home studio in Bristol, she devotes her time to crafting artwork. When not immersed in the creative process, she finds solace in nature, especially by the sea, where inspiration often finds her. With over 15 years experience in the Art & Design industries, coupled with a BA in Illustration and an MA in Printmaking, she’s thrilled to share her creations and knowledge with the world. Slow Sunday draws inspiration from the small yet significant moments that weave the fabric of lasting memories. Taking time to slow down amidst life's chaos is crucial for cultivating a more relaxed, inspiring, and joyful existence. Sundays remain sacred to her, a day dedicated to unwinding, slowing down, and indulging in activities that spark happiness. Beyond her own artwork, she now hosts regular printmaking workshops, offering others the joy of slow, creative moments.
