‘Solar System’ is an original celestial themed lino print inspired by the amazing solar system that we are part of. With the sun at the centre surrounded by orbiting planets, moons, stars and comets the design creates a mandala-like pattern that brings about a meditative quality to the image. The modern design would suit any age or gender which gives it a timeless quality. It would be as at home in a celestial themed nursery as it would be in a more grown up setting. ‘Solar System’ is an open edition lino print handmade by Liz, founder of Slow Sunday, in her home studio in Bristol. Due to the handmade nature there will be slight differences within the marks and texture of each print.
Your print will be carefully packaged with a cardboard backing and placed inside a card backed envelope to ensure it arrives with you safely. The print itself will be wrapped in a bio-degradable and compostable ‘cellophane’ bag which has been made in the UK from vegetable starch. These bags can be placed in either a home or commercial compost bin and will break down to CO2 and water which can then be reused in the ecosystem to make new plants.
A handwritten thank you note will accompany each order. Want to send a gift directly? Add a note to your order and a personalised handwritten message will be added so someone special knows you are thinking of them.

The print is sold unframed, however standard frames can be found to fit this print.
Shipping:
Prices include UK post and packaging and all orders will be shipped first class Royal Mail. During this time orders will be dispatched 2-3 times a week. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
